The old way is broken. For most actors, the audition is the most acting they ever get to do, and it happens behind a closed door for an audience of one. Or worse, it is a self-tape you send off and never hear about again, left wondering if anyone even pressed play. All that talent, performed for no one. We think that is backwards.

The Casting Call changes everything. This is a real, live audition you can do from anywhere. We put your performance on a live stage, in front of a real audience that has a vested interest in your success. Auditions stream live throughout Fall 2026, in front of the panel and the audience. All you need is an internet connection, a camera, and a free Gratwick app account. Not chosen for a slot? Every submission we verify earns six months of Gratwick membership, free — watch every live audition, rate the contenders for the other role, and follow the season from the inside. It starts as soon as we confirm your tagged post. Select late entries are also invited to the green‑room lottery for a chance to audition live during the show.

DEADLINE

You audition remotely and live
In front of a three‑person panel of real industry professionals (Just Drive’s Director, Producer, and Casting Director) and a live audience watching across multiple platforms.

You are judged on craft, not clout
Every audition is rated across ten performance categories — Performance, Presence, Fit, Emotional Range, Voice, Delivery, Physicality, Authenticity, Chemistry, and Memorability — plus X‑Factor. Talent and entertainment, not a popularity contest.

You get to prepare
If selected to audition, we send the sides ahead of time and schedule your slot in advance so you walk in ready. Audition Waitlist actors get the sides and instructions ahead of time too.

You get paid to audition
$25 for your livestreamed audition segment. (Not for the online submission itself.)

Panel scores stay sealed until the reveal, so no one is anchored by anyone else. Antonio Sabáto Jr., founding partner of Gratwick and the star and executive producer of Just Drive, is part of building this with you.

Yes, eliminations are real — and honest
Each episode, audience ratings eliminate one actor. Don’t be discouraged: auditioning puts you in front of a built‑in, engaged audience that includes other filmmakers. You can be discovered for a different role. We want you to succeed.

The strongest advance to LA callbacks
Standout performers may be flown to Los Angeles for final callbacks — in‑person chemistry reads with Antonio.
THE SET

Cast? Then the story really begins.

If you land the role, you become part of The Set, our live reality series built around the making of Just Drive. You will not just be in the film. Your journey to seize the role becomes one of its central storylines. Livestreamed, scheduled auditions begin weekly in Fall 2026. Final callbacks — in‑person chemistry reads — take place in Los Angeles once rolling submissions close with strong performers. The 20–22 days of production are targeted for early 2027 in the Los Angeles area. If you’re cast and don’t live locally, we cover housing, board, transportation, and per diem on top of the daily pay below.

Your journey is the story
The path you take to seize this role becomes an essential storyline. You are not just cast in a film — you are a lead character in the story of its making.
What to expect
Filmed as part of the live production experience — the run‑up, the behind‑the‑scenes, the real moments on set. The livestream audience gets real access to the creative journey, and you are at the center of it.
What you earn
$500 per day for The Set (the reality show) and $1,000 per day for the film production, plus backend benefits.
